ऐरीले अविजित ५४ रन बनाउनुका साथै महत्वपूर्ण चार विकेटसमेत लिए । केसीले अविजित ३३ रनको योगदान दिनुका साथै पपुवा न्युगिनीका तीन खेलाडीलाई पवेलियन फर्काए ।
कीर्तिपुरस्थित त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयको क्रिकेट मैदानमा पपुवा न्युगिनीले टस जितेर फिल्डिङ गर्ने निर्णय गरेपछि नेपाल ब्याटिङमा उत्रेको थियो । नेपालले निर्धारित २० ओभरमा ६ विकेटको क्षतिमा १६८ रन बनायो ।

चाल्र्स अमिनीले १५ रन बनाउनु बाहेक पपुवा न्युगिनीका अरु कुनै पनि खेलाडीले उल्लेख्य रन बनाउन सकेनन् । प्रारम्भिक खेलाडीद्वय लेगा सिका र असाद भालाले आठ-आठ रन मात्र बनाउन सके ।
